Why We Love Working at the East Bay SPCA!
The Challenge:
How to make a video with a heartfelt impact at the organization’s biggest charity gala of the year.
The Solution:
I focused on showcasing the staff of the animal shelter, behavior center and vet clinic and why they loved working there. I then researched and hired a videographer who specializes in animal welfare in the nonprofit sector, who did an all-day photo shoot. The video aims to show heartfelt and genuine answers to show donors how their dollars have high impact and inspire them to give during the event.
The Impact:
The event netted the most money to date.

Thank You, Donors!
The Challenge:
How to make a tearjerking video thanking donors at the organization’s annual charity gala.
The Solution:
I wanted to highlight the tough cases the shelter took on from the year prior to show donors were their dollars had impact while collaborating with my CEO. I made a list of adopted pets the staff worked closely with on rehabilitation, including a dog that was brought in from a homeless man when it was hit by a car and needed its leg to be amputated at our vet clinic. Many pets highlighted were also in the shelter for a very long time. I reached out to the adopters and scheduled time for them to come in with a videographer I hired. I worked with the videographer on the final edits.
The Impact:
The event netted the most money to date.
